'Sleeping Dogs' gets free clothing set with 'Just Cause 2' save file

Sleeping Dogs players with a Just Cause 2 save file will have access to a free launch-day clothing skin for protagonist Wei Shen, publisher Square Enix announced today.

The clothing set, based on the Rico Rodriguez' outfit from Just Cause 2, will grant players a boost in the action hijack ability, allowing them to hijack enemy vehicles from a greater distance with stuntman-style flair. The costume is available across all platforms, as long as a Just Cause 2 save file is present on the hard drive.

Sleeping Dogs, an open-world cop drama set in the seedy underbelly of Hong Kong, will release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 14th.
