'Skylanders Giants' adds Swarm to its roster of Giants

An insect from the air elemental class, Swarm grew larger than any of his bee brethren due to some unknown magic, and his massive size left him unable to stay inside his royal family's hive. Now he's set to "bring the sting" to the fight between the Giants and Arkeyans in Skylanders Giants.

Activision released footage of Swarm in Skylanders Giants that shows off his hand-to-hand combat and powerful projectile attacks. You can check out the video below, along with screenshots of Swarm and a photo of the corresponding Giant toy.

Skylanders Giants is set for release this October on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PC, and mobile platforms.
