More than 50 playable pinball machines will be on show at the Newcastle Pinball Association's first ever pinball festival, which runs from September 8-9 in Newcastle, two hours north of Sydney.
More than 50 playable pinball machines will be on show at the Newcastle Pinball Association's first ever pinball festival, which runs from September 8-9 in Newcastle, two hours north of Sydney.
The festival will be held at Caves Beachside Hotel and all the pinball machines will be set to free play so that attendees can try all the machines. Among the machines that will be at the festival include the Transformers pinball machine, Terminator 3, Getaway, Jurassic Park, The Sopranos, Revenge from Mars, TRON Legacy, and the recently released AC/DC pinball machine, which has sold well down under. The new Stern X-Men machine will also be there, and attendees will be among the first people to play it. The event does not have a website yet, but the details have been posted on the Aussie Arcade forum.
Entry on Saturday and Sunday is $10 for a single ticket per day, and $20 for a family/double ticket. There is also a kids' club on site so that parents can enjoy the pinball machines without children.
