Solitaire Blitz and PvZ Presents: Talking Zombatar are coming to mobile devices later this year as free-to-play apps, developer PopCap announced today.
Both free-to-play apps will feature in-game purchases that players can earn either by playing the games or buying with actual earth bucks.
Solitaire Blitz launched on Facebook in March and has already attracted 5 million players. Its mobile version will communicate with Facebook to populate players' friends lists, and include weekly tournaments, mobile achievements, and leader boards.
PvZ Presents: Talking Zombatar is a new app inspired by PopCaps' Plants Vs. Zombies. It allows users to create, dress, and interact with a pet Zombie by taking pictures and movie mashups of you and your zombie, which you can then share via social networks.
PopCap, which earned its reputation with games like Bejeweled and Peggle, was was purchased by EA in 2011.
