Borderlands and its upcoming sequel are part of a special offer on Amazon: the PC download of the original title's Game of the Year Edtion is on sale for $7.49, 75 percent off, and a purchase nets the buyer a 10 percent discount on a pre-order of Borderlands 2.
Those Borderlands 2 savings apply on top of Amazon's existing 10 percent discount for the game alone ($53.99) or a four-pack ($161.97). In all cases, it appears that the offer is only valid for PC download versions of the games in question, not physical copies on PC or console. The deal expires at 11:59 p.m. PDT on July 30th — by then, you have to both buy Borderlands and pre-order its sequel.
