Sanctum coming to Mac on August 13th, beta keys now available

Sanctum, the FPS-tower-defense hybrid is coming to Mac.

Sanctum, a first-person-shooter/tower-defense shooter released on Steam last spring, is coming to Mac on August 13th, developer Coffee Stain Studios announced today.

Players interested in testing the Mac version beta can apply by filling out this application. Those who already own Sanctum for PC can access the beta through their Steam Game Library.

Sanctum tells the story of a young soldier who must help defend her hometown from alien invasion. Players must build defenses and protect the "core" of their structures by engaging enemies in combat. The below trailer, released at launch last year, demonstrates how tower defense melds with first-person-shooter combat.
