Brisbane's Andrew "mOOnGLaDe" Pender and Sydney's Tim "MaFia" He will represent Oceania in the StarCraft 2 World Championship in Shanghai, China, this November after beating out the top players from Australia and New Zealand in the Oceania finals tonight.

Both players dominated the rounds that led to the grand final, with mOOnGLaDe being the ultimate victor in the final match against MaFia, beating him 2-0.

A prize pool of $15,000 plus two paid trips to the World Championship in Shanghai (for the top two players) were spread among four players. mOOnGLaDe, sponsored by Team NV, took out first place as the grand final champion, MaFia of Team Immunity came in second, Tgun of It's Gosu was third, and Light of Team Immunity took fourth place.

The event, hosted by the Australian Cyber League, was punctuated by casting from international guests Artosis, Tasteless, HDstarcraft, and PainUser, as well as Australian local Maynarde taking on the duties of MC.
