Black Ops Declassified brings CoD multiplayer to Vita.
While Activision isn't quite ready to declassify Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified, the forthcoming Vita release of the historically popular Call of Duty series, it did manage to share some details during Sony's Gamescom press conference today, including a November release window to match its console big brother.
Notably, the game will include 4v4 multiplayer over WiFi (presumably not 3G then?) across modes like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed, on new maps built exclusively for PlayStation Vita. It will also include new weapons and gear designed to take advantage of Vita technology, like the location-aware Near service.
Sony will also release a special Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified Vita bundle that includes a copy of the game in addition to a Vita with a special COD-themed rear panel and pouch. There's no word on when we may see more of BlOps Declassified but we hope the absence of footage doesn't mean it will be absent from Gamescom.
Update: Ask and ye shall receive. Sony returned to Declassified at the end of its press conference to share this video.
