'Lost Planet 3' trailer found at Gamescom

Lost Planet 3, the upcoming science fiction action game from developer Spark Unlimited, received a new trailer today to coincide with the game's appearance with publisher Capcom at Gamescom 2012.

Lost Planet 3, the upcoming science fiction action game from developer Spark Unlimited, received a new trailer today to coincide with the game's appearance with publisher Capcom at Gamescom 2012.

The trailer finds the game's bearded protagonist, Jim Peyton, in and out of his Utility Rig's cockpit as he uncovers the worst kinds of secrets on the planet E.D.N. III. It also highlights Lost Planet 3's mix of Rig-assisted first-person and Rig-less melee combat. Yesterday, Capcom revealed the game's new cover system and The Winch, a new tool for the Rig that can grab enemies at range, both of which we hope to see and show you in our preview later this week.

You'll be able to discover Lost Planet 3 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PCs in early 2013. You can see the new trailer and a gallery of images below, both of which feature the new Spitter Akrid, which is sure to creep up in tonight's nightmares.
