A new Planetside 2 trailer showing gameplay footage for the massively multiplayer first-person shooter was released today showing off the game's enormous continents and gameplay.

A new Planetside 2 trailer showing gameplay footage for the massively multiplayer first-person shooter was released today showing off the game's enormous continents.

The beta period for the game began on August 6 with Sony Online Entertainment saying that the beta invitations would be sent out in waves as a protective measure for the game's servers.

The game is still accepting beta sign-ups and the trailer can be viewed below.

No release datehas been announved for the PC title.
