'Guild Wars 2' developer video shows World versus World multiplayer

"Guild Wars 2" developer video walks us through World versus World multiplayer.

ArenaNet shared another Guild Wars 2 developer video today, this one focusing on the game's World versus World multiplayer mode.

In World versus World, three teams take to a battlefield spanning four massive maps to win control over objectives. Each team is made up of one entire server and has its own home map. Over the course of two-week battles, teams must try to capture other servers' home maps to earn points and score bonuses. All players are automatically brought up to level 80 so the playing field is equal, and experience points and loots can still be obtained in World versus World mode.

Guild Wars 2 is set to release on August 28th.
