Metal Gear Rising Revengeance may see a PC version after the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are completed.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, the sword-weilding spinoff from developer Platinum Games, may see a PC version after the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are completed, according to Kojima Productions creative producer Yuji Korekado.
"Right now, honestly, we are doing our best to complete at the same time the PlayStation 3 version and the Xbox 360 version," Korekado told Eurogamer. "For the PC version, we will contemplate making it or not once we reach this goal of completing the PS3 and 360 versions."
Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima announced Revengeance for Xbox 360 at Microsoft's E3 keynote in 2009. Konami confirmed later that week that it would make its way to PlayStation 3 and PC. The game was beset with development problems, and when Platinum Productions picked up the pieces, the PC version seemed to have vanished.
At Gamescom last week, Polygon spoke with producer Yuji Korekado, who told us that Raiden, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance's cyborg ninja protagonist, "completely destroyed" the game's early development with his frenetic swordplay.
Revengeance is set for a February 19th, 2013 release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
