"Borderlands 2" soundtrack features Assassin's Creed and "Mass Effect 3" composers.
The official soundtrack for Gearbox's role-playing shooter Borderlands 2 will feature tracks by Mass Effect 3 composers Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan as well as Jesper Kyd, known for his work on the Assassin's Creed series, distributor Sumthing Else Music Works announced today.
The Borderland 2 Original Soundtrack will drop on September 18th on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and worldwide retail outlets through Sumthing Else. The retail version is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
The 23-track score will also include music from Gearbox's in-house composer Raison Varner, and promises the fusion of "multiple music styles which capture the multi-faceted personality and thrilling co-op action of Borderlands 2 as players storm through the world of Pandora and its dynamic art style."
