Citizen GRIM to bring the next gen to Facebook this Summer.
Mercenaries of War developer Eruptive Games is partnering up with Zynga to publish a next-gen social game titled Citizen GRIM via Facebook and Zynga.com, the studio announced today.
"We are very thrilled to be working with Zynga to get Citizen GRIM out in the world," said Eruptive CEO Julian Ing. "This partnership will let us maintain our focus on developing award-winning titles and leverage the world's largest provider of social game services to build our user base."
Citizen GRIM is said to push the graphical boundaries of Facebook games, and will feature a "Hollywood-inspired" action setting, as well as dynamic combat within a zombie-infested town.
Eruptive Games is focusing on a demographic of 18 to 45 year-old males with the release of this title. Last month the company announced $1.1 million in funding from numerous investors including from Guitar Hero creator Kai Huang.
Citizen GRIM will release later this Summer. Following this, an iOS version will be released in the Fall.
