Far Cry 3, Ubisoft's upcoming open-world first-person shooter, received a new video today offering a taste of island life, and introducing players to the flora, fauna, and carnivorous predators that would like to use your arm as a chew toy.
"This place is no game. It wants you dead," says ex-CIA operative Huntley, the video's narrator. "Listen to me if you want to come back outside of a body bag."
The stage is set on the Rook Islands, and the video explores its highest hills to its secret underground caves with a combination of vehicles, weapons, and acrobatic leaps, pausing briefly for some tropical swimming with a giant shark and a possible kidnapping by islanders.
Far Cry 3 is poised for a December 4th release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Polygon played Far Cry 3 at Gamescom recently, so be sure to check out our impressions of the island sandbox and watch out for the tiger in the video below.
