"Scribblenauts Unlimited" trailer gives Cthulhu a makeover with its object editor.

The newest trailer for Scribblenauts Unlimited offers a tour through the game's extensive object creation tools, courtesy of Lovecraftian entity Cthulhu.

Players can create new objects from scratch or modify existing ones via the Object Editor. Parts can be removed or swapped for different variations– as demonstrated in the video below with Cthulhu's wings – and physical properties like size and color can be changed. Object behaviors can also be tweaked by selecting and organizing a series of if-then reaction variables. Player-made objects can be gifted to other Scribblenauts players online.

Scribblenauts Unlimited was announced for Wii U and 3DS at Nintendo's E3 press conference earlier this summer. Polygon met with developer 5th Cell and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive today in the lead up to PAX, and we'll have more details on the game shortly.
