'Assassin's Creed 3' Wii U box art revealed by Amazon

Online retailer Amazon.ca published images of what appears to be the box art for the Wii U versions of Assassin's Creed 3, The Avengers: Battle For Earth, and Just Dance 4.

Online retailer Amazon.ca published images of what appears to be the box art for the Wii U versions of Assassin's Creed 3, The Avengers: Battle For Earth, and Just Dance 4.

The site lists all three games as available for pre-order, with the release date of Assassin's Creed 3 set to October 30th, 2012.

While release dates listed by retailers are not always accurate, the box art featured could be the final art released with the game.

Amazon UK also posted images of the PlayStation 3 box art for Assassin's Creed 3. It's listing makes mention of PS3-exclusive content that offers players up to 60 minutes of additional game time.

Update: Ubisoft has confirmed in a statement that this is the final box art for the Wii U version of Assassin's Creed 3.
