Team 17's "Worms" for Facebook has moved into closed beta.
The upcoming Facebook version of invertebrate-themed artillery battler Worms has entered a closed beta, developer Team 17 announced today.
Interested players can sign up via Facebook, and new participants will be added to the beta daily. Team 17 plans to continuously release new content for Worms, such as items and maps. Players can also purchase weapons and gear via the in-game shop with both digital and real currency.
Worms for Facebook will release in full later this year. A series reboot, Worms Revolution, was announced back in May for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC.
