Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will feature a day and night cycle.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will feature a day and night cycle to extend its potential replayability, series creator Hideo Kojima told Eurogamer.

Users will spot differences in the world depending on the time of day, including changes in enemy troops' patterns. In addition, the upcoming Metal Gear title will include loading screens throughout its open world map.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes was first revealed at the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary party in August. Further information was made available during PAX, including footage of the upcoming title.

The game's 15-minute demo showed Snake infiltrating an army base where he meets a disfigured man and negotiates the release of a child soldier.
