Borderlands 2's massive marketing push now includes a live-action commercial, which aired yesterday during ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown.

The 30-second spot sees the game's fearsome foursome — Salvador, Maya, Axton, and Zer0 — pull up in their Party Truck to undertake a siege of a compound full of Psychos. They've brought enough firepower to take down a small village, with big guns, elemental powers, and a lot of explosions on display in the ad.

We're also picking up on the background music, "What Makes A Good Man?" by The Heavy. The song is getting a lot of play these days: it was also used in the Sleeping Dogs launch trailer, and it's on the NHL 13 soundtrack.

Check out an off-screen capture of the commercial below, and read our PAX preview for more details on Borderlands 2, which launches on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on September 18th.
