Narrated by game design director David Vonderhaar, the video takes the form of developer commentary, stopping to explain the game’s new features. Highlights include the revamped class creation system, new weapons like the "shock charge," which stuns an enemy long enough to get the upper hand, and a new energy wave turret that audibly fries an enemy’s skin.

The video also shows the "dive to prone" feature that will be returning in Black Ops 2 multiplayer, and reveals that players can now take two perks from the same category by using "wildcards," which allow players to change class creation rules.
