Terraria, Re-logic's PC world-building action game, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network early next year, publisher 505 Games announced in a press release today.
Terraria shares some similarities with 3D predecessor Minecraft, as it tasks players with collecting materials and crafting equipment and structures as they fend off waves of aggressive foes. This downloadable console port won't feature the involvement of creator Andrew Sprinks, as development duties have been passed to handheld and middleware-focused developer Engine Software.
No price for the title has been announced, though Terraria currently sells for $9.99 on Steam. Check out the trailer below to see its collecting and constructing action unfold.
