There is no U.S. date for the game, but it releases on Sept. 27 in Japan on the 3DS.


The Japanese graphic designer and music composer behind renowned shoot’em up Ikaruga, is working on a new shmup for the Nintendo 3DS.
Due out later this month in Japan with no date set for the U.S., Kokuga uses cards to power up the game’s ships with special abilities and new weapons. Check out the game in action below.
Hiroshi Iuchi is the director for the game, which is set for a Sept. 27 release in Japan on the 3DS.
