Funky Barn coming late this year to Wii U.
Funky Barn is bringing farm simulation to the Wii U in late 2012, developer Tantalus confirmed today.
The upcoming sandbox farm title will allow users to interact with farm animals, manage machinery, and create buildings using the Wii U GamePad touch screen. Players can also shake fruit off of trees using the GamePad gyroscrope.
"We've been working on Funky Barn for a long time and it's very close to our hearts," said Tantalus CEO Tom Crago in a prepared statement. "It's a perfect fit for the Wii U and the GamePad opens up an array of new possibilities. It has allowed us to come up with crazy ideas for what is absolutely a madcap experience."
Tantalus is the sister company of Straight Right, the studio behind Mass Effect 3 on Wii U. Check out our recent interview with CEO Tom Crago regarding how an iOS developer came to be the studio behind Mass Effect 3, one of the most highly-anticipated Wii U games.
