Xbox 360 owners looking to pre-order Resident Evil 6 should consider doing so through the Microsoft Store, thanks to a money-back offer from Microsoft.

Customers who pre-order the upcoming action-horror title through the Microsoft Store will receive 1600 Microsoft Points (worth $20) and a $10 Microsoft Store coupon. The Microsoft Store is the computing giant's own online and physical retailer.

The Capcom-Unity blog points out that players can put those MS Points toward the purchase of Resident Evil 6's three downloadable multiplayer modes, DLC that will come to Xbox Live before it hits PlayStation Network and PC.

Resident Evil 6 launches on October 2nd on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A demo will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on September 18th.
