PAX Australia doesn't yet have an official date or location, but fans can keep up with the convention on Facebook and Twitter.

Meanwhile, the official PAX Australia site is only a placeholder page for now.

According to the Facebook page, "There will be all the big announcements for when and where PAX Australia will be soon," but for now, Penny Arcade is asking fans for their choice of host city on both Facebook and Twitter. Melbourne appears to be the top vote-getter among the 200-plus comments on the Facebook post so far, with Sydney in second place.

Penny Arcade founders Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins announced PAX Australia 2013 during their annual PAX Prime Q&A session. They said they decided to bring the show down under thanks to fan input: "People asked us many times how we chose Australia for the next PAX, and we didn't really; you chose it."
