Touch Arcade reports that Lunar Silver Star Story Touch developer SoMoGa would hit the App Store this week, but didn't specify a specific release day — however, apps usually launch on Wednesdays, making that the likeliest due date. The RPG, which also appeared in various incarnations on the Sega Saturn and PlayStation, was announced for iOS last April for a September 2011 release. Obviously, it's missed that window by a significant margin.
We've reached out to SoMoGa to see if the game will indeed launch this week, and if so, on which day we can expect its arrival.
Update: A SoMoGa representative responded, saying, "This is true, and it will be available near the end of this week."
