PlayStation Store getting a makeover this October.
The PlayStation Store is getting a makeover this October to tie in with the launch of the recently announced PlayStation 3 slim re-design, PlayStation Blog AU confirmed today.
The re-design of the Store is said to make it simpler to find and download content, according to the official post.
"To tie in with the launch, PlayStation Store for PS3 is set to get a new look from October 2012 too, making it even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa."
In North America, the re-designed slim console will be available on September 25th in its 250GB model priced at $269.99. The console will come as part of a "limited edition" bundle that includes the "game of the year" edition of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and a credit for $30 worth of content for the game Dust 514. A 500GB version will be available on October 30th for $299.99, and will also feature a limited bundle, coming packed with a copy of Assassin's Creed 3.
