Dead or Alive 5 coming to PlayStation Store on release date, 3 months later to Xbox Live Marketplace.

PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download the full version of Dead or Alive 5 the same day the game releases in stores, according to developer Team Ninja.

Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi announced the digital release of DOA5 at the developer's "Team Ninja Night" in Tokyo. Hayashi added that the Xbox 360 version won't see a digital release alongside the retail version, adding that a downloadable version via Xbox Live Marketplace won't be available until three months after launch.

Hayashi then said, "If you want [the downloadable version] earlier, tell Microsoft."

Dead or Alive 5 will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 25th in North America, three days later in Europe.
