Sony is working with ratings boards to create a simpler method of ratings, which will also place PlayStation Mobile games under the same content restrictions as console games, reports Joystiq.
During a Fantastic Arcade panel, developer relations exec Shane Bettenhausen touched on the company's new methods. The system will allow developers to self-report content via a form, which cuts out time needed for rating boards to manually perform checks.
Bettenhausen reportedly dubbed the new method "ESRB lite, PEGI lite, CERO lite."
