This isn't the first time the band has recorded music for the game. Last year Avenged Sevenfold recorded music for the Call of Duty: Black Ops downloadable content, "Escalation", and they also made music for the Call of the Dead zombie DLC.

The band is returning for Call of Duty: Black ops 2 with the single "Carry On", which will feature in the game. The song can be purchased from Amazon and streamed via Banana 101.5.
