Joe Danger 2: The Movie, Hello Games' sequel to its 2010 stuntman platformer, will launch on PlayStation Network "in the very near future," the studio announced today.

The upcoming PSN version will have "over 10 hours of exclusive content," according to Hello Games, "as a thank you to all the fans of the original [Joe Danger]." The studio didn't provide any further details, but managing director Sean Murray said, "I think fans of the original will really love what we've done."

Joe Danger first launched exclusively on PSN in mid-2010; it was followed by a special-edition release on Xbox Live Arcade with extra content last December. The sequel came out exclusively on XBLA earlier this month.

In Joe Danger 2: The Movie, our daredevil hero performs stunts for a Hollywood film. Each level offers its own gameplay mechanic that players explore while encountering dangers such as robots, dinosaurs, and nuclear missiles. A challenge mode called "Deleted Scenes" and a level editor — which now allows players to share their creations with the world — round out the package.
