'Star Wars: The Old Republic' unleashes the 'Terror from Beyond' on the galaxy

Star Wars: The Old Republic update 1.4 brings a new mission and the "Terror from Beyond" to the MMO today.

The update's Challenge takes place on the planet of Asation, which is controlled by the Gree. Team-based battles against the Dread Masters and their agents lead up to an ultimate confrontation with the titular "Terror from Beyond." Successful players will close a Hypergate, save the galaxy, and be rewarded with the Dread Guard gear, which developer BioWare describes as the game's "most powerful equipment yet."

The update also provides improvements to characters' facial expressions, a tweak to the Group Finder that allows players to return to their original positions when they leave the group, and an option to customize the appearance of players' companions.

The 1.4 update is available today. Star Wars: The Old Republic is available free-to-play up to level 15.
