Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 2 will not run on Windows XP.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will not run on Windows XP operating systems, according to the official PC specifications for the game.

As posted on CallofDuty.com, users will need at minimum Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7 to run the upcoming title.

"Since we upgraded the engine to use DirectX11, Windows XP is no longer supported. It requires Windows Vista or later," it is explained in the minimum specification Q&A.

In addition, users are required to have an Intel Core2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHz, a 2GB for 32-bit OS or 4GB for 64-bit OS, and an Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be available on November 13th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
