Age of Conan: Unchained, Funcom's four-year-old massively multiplayer title, will soon begin to receive a series of content updates collectively called Secrets of Dragon's Spine, developer Funcom announced today.

Secrets of Dragon's Spine is set to add a significant amount of endgame content to Age of Conan — dungeons to explore, quests to complete, monsters to defeat, and rewards to claim — starting "in the next few months," according to Funcom.

Secrets of Dragon's Spine takes place in a rocky desert area located southwest of the city of Pteion. It's a barren place with only one man-made structure, the Palace of Cetriss, although humans and other beings dwell in subterranean civilizations. Funcom says the region is comparable in size to the coast of Ardashir, which debuted in the most recent update, September 2011's Savage Coast of Turan. It will contain three new dungeons: The Coils of Ubah Kan, The Sepulcher of the Wyrm, and The Slithering Chaos. Funcom is also teasing a new mount type that will tie in with the story in Secrets of Dragon's Spine.
