The construction and management simulation classic, RollerCoaster Tycoon, is getting the 3D treatment in an upcoming version for the 3DS to be released next month.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be the fourth installment in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series and will be the first to arrive on a handheld console. The game will receive a number of tweaks and 3DS-specific features like a new gameplay mode called 'Coaster Story', which blends tutorials with park challenges, a first-person view of rides, the ability to take in-game photos, a gyro sensor that allows players to look around their theme park by tilting their 3DS, and the ability to share roller coasters with friends through StreetPass.
The game is being developed by n-Space and published by Atari and Namco Bandai Games. It will release in Europe on October 16th and has been dated for Fall in North America.
