"Bad Piggies," a sequel to "Angry Birds" starring the game's green pigs, is coming to iOS, Android, and Mac on September 27th.
Bad Piggies, a sequel to Angry Birds starring the game's green pigs, is coming to iOS, Android, and Mac on September 27th, Rovio announced today.
Bad Piggies does away with the franchise's familiar slingshot used to launch birds in favor of all-new mechanics.
"There's a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we've been constantly asked: what about the pigs' side of the story?" said Rovio CEO Mikael Hed said in a press release. "Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes."
Rovio plans to release Bad Piggies for Windows Phone, Windows 8, and PC as well. The company began teasing the game last week via Facebook and Twitter pages for their trademark pigs.
