Valve's update to its Steam Community platform is now live, the company announced today.

Valve's "major update" to its Steam Community platform is now live.

Valve had been running a beta of the revamped Community for the past three weeks.

The update is designed to make the Community element of Steam more usable and more engaging. It brings user-generated content such as in-game screenshots, videos, Steam Workshop items, and mods to the fore, collating them in hubs for individual games along with related news and forum discussions. A Twitter-like feed provides updates on friends' activity, and an overhauled interface for groups makes it easier for like-minded players to get together and interact with each other.
