It's an extended cut of the same demo we saw at E3, a sequence in Pittsburgh in which protagonists Joel and Ellie make their way through a dilapidated hotel. The demo shows off the banter between the two characters as they solve environmental puzzles and sneak around the vagrants who have set up shop in the building.
We've embedded the longer PAX Prime demo first, and the seven-and-a-half-minute E3 demo below it. Watch both of them to see two different play-throughs — while The Last of Us isn't an open-world game, it's unscripted, unlike Naughty Dog's Uncharted series.
The Last of Us is due out in 2013.
