DrakeRider hits the US App Store for iOS devices.

Drakerider, a role-playing game developed by Witchcraft Inc., is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices, Square Enix announced today.

The title, which was officially announced at this year's E3, throws players into the role of hero Aran Lawson, who is joined by his dragon companion Eckhardt in an attempt to fight the evil Dread.

Users can now download and try its introductory chapter for free via the iTunes Store. The following chapters from two through five are available for $6.99 each. Alternatively, players can purchase the full package for $20.99.
