Ubisoft announced a free-to-play PC game from Ubisoft Montreal today called The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot.
The action fantasy game is set in a medieval fantasy world called Opulencia where players prepare a hero for battle and loot other people's castles while also trying to defend their own.
Players venture into the castles created by others in search of loot and gold; at the same time, they must protect their own treasure from neighbors. Players can fill their castles with monsters like cyclopses and fire-breathing dragons to help them guard their loot and, using the gold they've found, players can customize their armor and buy more items to defend their castles.
The game is designed to be played in short bursts and promises intense, asynchronous action, meaning that players can experience the game in their own time without needing others to also to be logged on.
The game will be on PC and will go into closed alpha in early September.
