Sega is bringing Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure – a game originally released on the Nintendo 3DS – to iOS devices, it was announced this week.
The game will be free-to-play and players will be charged for in-game items. The game is also expected to have social elements, although these have not been revealed.
The original Rhythm Thief and The Emperor's Treasure for 3DS was a music adventure game that required players to tap the screen, swipe the stylus, and control the gyro to the beat of the music to maneuver the game's character, Raphael, in a variety of rhythm-based challenges.
The iOS version is expected sometime this year but a release date has not been confirmed.
