The sequel to Payday is coming out in 2013 as part of a partnership deal between Starbreeze Studios and 505 Games.
Payday 2 and untitled project P13 will release worldwide in 2013 under a partnership deal between Swedish development studio Starbreeze and publisher 505 Games, it was announced by Ian Howe, president of 505 Games North America.
"Our partnership with Starbreeze Studios is a testament to 505 Games' commitment to working with top development talent," said Howe. "In addition to working with an amazing studio we are honoured to also partner with acclaimed Swedish film director Josef Fares whose creative genius is bringing P13 to life."
P13 is to be developed in conjunction with Fares, who will work to guide the storyline, look, and tone of the upcoming downloadable action-adventure game. Payday 2 is also to be released as a downloadable title.
