A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 shows off the Kingdom of Corona from Tangled, home of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
Sora and his friends stumble upon Rapunzel’s tower. The free-spirited heroine descends in a flurry of golden hair, determined to see the outside world. Charming thief Flynn Rider says that he could escort her to the Kingdom, but Sora and his friends seem more equipped for combatting the strange creatures that have sprouted up (quite literally, since they seem to be plant-based), so they all team up and galavant across the Kingdom of Corona.
“Best day ever!” exclaims Rapunzel, much like her movie counterpart.
It’s been almost 15 years since the last mainline Kingdom Hearts game, which means plenty of new movies and lands to explore. In addition to Corona, Arendelle from Frozen and San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6 are coming to Kingdom Hearts 3. Disney also acquired Pixar since the last Kingdom Hearts so Andy’s Room from Toy Story and Monstropolis from Monsters, Inc will also be featured. As for other locations, the Olympus Coliseum from Hercules and Port Royal from Pirates of the Caribbean are also confirmed.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan. 29, 2019.
