Genshin Impact guide: How to unlock the Formation Estate domain

Several of Genshin Impact’s domains in Inazuma are hidden away, including the Formation Estate domain. To dig it up, you’ll need to complete a certain world quest. Our Genshin Impact guide will explain where to find the Formation Estate domain and how to get to it.

There’s a torch puzzle right in front of the Formation Estate, along with a Seelie, which will lead you around to the different torches. However, when you first approach the torches and try to light them, it’ll be raining so they won’t stay lit up.

To make the rain stop on Yashiori island, you’ll need to complete the world quest Orobashi’s Legacy. Orobashi’s Legacy is a multi-step quest that involves seeking out different small shrines along Yashiori Island. Once you get to the shrines, you’ll need to break the large watery domes that you’ve probably seen around the island, and grab the loot inside.

You can start Orobashi’s Legacy by taking to Kaji, who is hanging out at a campsite that we marked below.

The quest has three steps after the prologue. You won’t be able to stop the rain in the area that Formation Estate is in until you get to the last step of the quest.

This domain is a one-and-done domain that has several rewards for beating it. You’ll get 40 Primogems, 500 Adventure EXP, five Electro Sigils, a Hopeful Heart artifact, two Guides to Light, three Hero’s Wit, five Mystic Enhancement Ores, and 30,000 Mora.
