In Genshin Impact, players in Inazuma will have to complete the world quest line Orobashi’s Legacy in order to unlock the Formation Estate domain. The quest involves completing electro puzzles around Yashiori Island. Our Genshin Impact guide will walk you through how to complete the Orobashi’s Legacy puzzles and how to unlock the Formation Estate domain.

Completing steps of this quest will make the thunderstorms stop on Yashiori Island. If you (for some reason) want it to storm and rain forever there, do not complete this quest.

To start the Orobashi’s Legacy quest, you’ll need to talk to Kaji near Fort Fujitou. We’ve mapped his location below.

Once you do, he’ll send you around to three different shrines on the island. Each shrine is missing two components and you’ll need to use your Elemental Sight to find them. However, one of the components for each shrine will be covered by a huge watery dome, and you can only open it up by using the electro mechanisms around it.

In each area, there is one Sacred Stone Mound and several Thunderbearer Mirrors. The mound has a half-circle shape on top and if you attack it, it will fire out an electric current. The mirrors do not fire off anything on their own, but will relay the electric current when they’re hit.

You can adjust the trajectory of the electric current on each mechanism by interacting with it. You’ll need to set them up to fire at the towers in a specific order, and then have the electric current hit the watery dome.

We’ve displayed the order the electric currents needs to hit the towers below.

Once you complete this part, it will stop raining in this area, so you’ll be able to access the Formation Estate domain.

The fourth part of Orobashi’s Legacy has no puzzle.

Make sure to use the Waverider Waypoint nearby to summon the boat, as it’ll be much easier to use instead of swimming around.
