Genshin Impact’s new addition of fishing has also added a new Polearm weapon players can get: “The Catch.” Our Genshin Impact guide will help you find the Polearm’s required fish and where to trade the fish in.

Any free-to-play players will want “The Catch” if they were lucky enough to roll Raiden Shogun, as it’s a very good weapon on her.

How to to get ‘The Catch’

You can trade fish for “The Catch” to Kujirai Momiji near Inazuma City.

To grab “The Catch,” you’ll need to provide Kujirai Momiji with:

  • 6 Raimei Angelfish
  • 20 Golden Koi
  • 20 Rusty Koi

To refine “The Catch,” you’ll want the Ako’s Sake Vessel item that she also can trade to you. Per refinement, you’ll need to give her:

  • 3 Raimei Angelfish
  • 10 Pufferfish
  • 10 Bitter Pufferfish

This means that unless you start looting fish from other people’s worlds (which we do not recommend, unless you get that player’s permission), you’ll have to wait several days to complete “The Catch.” Fish respawn in around three days, so make sure to mark the areas with the respective fish.

For ascension, “The Catch” uses Mask ascension materials, Chaos Gears, Axis, and Oculus, and Spectral Husks, Hearts, and Nuceleus.

Where to find Raimei Angelfish

Raimei Angelfish can be found at nighttime using False Worm Bait in the following location:

Tatarasuna

This is the only fishing spot with Raimei Angelfish, and it’s a dangerous one. The monsters here will respawn every day, so make sure you have a team that’s able to take down the Electro Abyss Mage and the other enemies that spawn here. Using a Pyro or Cryo character should make easy work of them.

Where to find Golden Koi

Golden Koi can be found at daytime and nighttime using Fake Fly Bait in the following locations.
