On Genshin Impact’s Tsurumi Island, there’s hidden treasure that isn’t associated with any quests that use Star-Shaped Gems as keys. Our Genshin Impact guide will mark the Star-Shaped Gem locations on maps, explain where to put them, and where to find the related Electro Seelies.
Before you start this journey, you need to make sure you have the Peculiar Pinion gadget, which you get from the “Octave of the Maushiro” world quest. You will not be able to find the Star-Shaped Gems without the gadget.
The puzzle involves finding three Star-Shaped Gems, placing them into a wall, and finding three Electro Seelies around Tsurumi Island. Most of the puzzle takes place in the ruins under Shirikoro Peak. We’ve mapped out where to find all of this below.
Finding Star-Shaped Gem 1
The first Star-Shaped Gem is behind a wall with a bird on it that will be on your right as you run into the ruins. Use the Peculiar Pinion near the wall to reveal a chest behind it.
Finding Star-Shaped Gem 2
The next Star-Shaped Gem is behind another wall with a bird on it, directly in front of the round door that leads deeper in the ruins. Again, use the Peculiar Pinion on it to show another chest. There will be a mechanical enemy in here that will wake up once you open the chest, so be ready to fight it.
Finding Star-Shaped Gem 3
The last Star-Shaped Gem is behind yet another bird wall, down the stairs near the other two gems. Head down the only staircase in the area and use the Peculiar Pinion on the wall. Keep following the path, and head up the hole in the ceiling, above the Electro Seelie arrow puzzle. There’ll be a chest up there with the last Star-Shaped Gem.
Placing the Star-Shaped Gems
Continue on in the ruins, entering the round door where the second relay stone puzzle is. In a room to the side, there’s three huge murals on the wall. As you approach them, you’ll be able to place the Star-Shaped Gems in the walls.
Once you do this, three Electro Seelie will appear and fly off, leaving you with a treasure chest.
Electro Seelie location 1 – Mt. Kanna
The first Electro Seelie is high up on Mt. Kanna. Use Electrograna in the center part of the mountain to help you fly up faster.
Electro Seelie location 2 – Shirikoro Peak
The second Electro Seelie is on Shirikoro Peak, below the Teleport Waypoint.
Electro Seelie location 3 – Unnamed mountain
The last Electro Seelie is on the unnamed mountain above the first perch you cleared for the island’s tutorial.
Once you chase down all three Electro Seelie, they’ll lead you to the same location, where you’ll get an Exquisite Chest as a reward.
