Genshin Impact’s “The Phaethons’ Syrtos” world quest takes place in Enkanomiya, a new area with many puzzle quests that interact with each other. “The Phaethons’ Syrtos” requires you to find Seelies to start it, and the Divine Bridle from “Hyperion’s Dirge” to complete it. Our Genshin Impact guide will explain where to find the Divine Bridle and start “The Phaethon’s Syrtos.”

To start “The Phaethon’s Syrtos,” you’ll need to talk to Clymene, a ghost that’s behind a gate. To open the gate, you’ll need to lead two nearby Seelies to the gate. We’ve marked where both of the Seelies are below.

Once you talk to Clymene inside the gate, he’ll mark seven tombs on your map. Leave Sango Pearls at these tombs to proceed with the quest. Sango Pearls can be found around Sangonomiya Shrine on Watatsumi Island.

Two of the tombs will have electro abyss lector enemies by them, so be ready to break their shields with elemental abilities.

Where to find the Divine Bridle

After placing the pearls at the tombs, Clymene will create a path to follow. He’ll then task you with giving him the Divine Bridle. You have to complete the quest “Hyperion’s Dirge” to get this item.

The quest involves taking on three combat challenges in the locations marked below.

Once you complete the three challenges, you’ll place the relics you obtained on pedestals in a shrine under the centermost Teleport Waypoint in Dainichi Mikoshi. We’ve marked its location below.

Once you place the Divine Bridle, you’ll be able to find the seven Sinshades of the Sunchildren, which rewards an achievement.
