The Lost Valley is the newest domain, added in patch 2.6 of Genshin Impact. The Lost Valley domain is in The Chasm, the craggy and mysterious area in Liyue and it hosts the Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter artifacts. Our Genshin Impact The Lost Valley domain unlock guide explains how to find the new domain.
In order to get to The Chasm, you need to have the following:
- Adventure Rank 22 or higher
- Complete the Archon Quest “Prologue: Act 3 — Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
If you are not this far in the game, you won’t be able to farm artifacts from The Lost Valley.
How to unlock The Lost Valley domain
We recommend unlocking The Chasm’s Statue of the Seven before you start this so you can see the map. Once you do that, head to Fuao Vale in the location marked below.
Place two Geo-resonating objects in the places below. (We used Zhongli’s pillars, but the Geo Traveler’s orbs should also work. You can also use a combination of the former with Ningguang’s Jade Screen and Arataki Itto’s Ushi, if you really want to.)
Run to the swirling Unique Rock Pillar marked below and use a Geo ability on it.
This will activate shockwaves that pass through the nearby rocks and on to the placed Geo constructs you put down. They’ll spread the shockwaves to the marked wall and break it open, revealing The Lost Valley.
Once you interact with The Lost Valley domain, you can teleport to it at any time. Notably, the Vermillion Hereafter set is great for Xiao, if you have him.
